New City Press is the North American publishing house of the Focolare, an ecclesial movement approved by the Roman Catholic Church.  The Focolare counts among its members Catholics and Christians from other churches, and among its affiliates followers of world religions and people whose convictions are not based on religion.

The primary mission of NCP is to publish works by Chiara Lubich and by others inspired by her spirituality of unity, which contributes to fulfilling Jesus’ prayer, “That all may be one” (see Jn 17:21).  Its mission also includes publishing works that deal with social issues and religion form the patristic era to the present age.
